Ermyth is an AI-driven system which listens to your stories. As you speak, Ermyth will generate visuals fitting the events you describe. In doing so, it immerses the user into an interactive narration. In the background, an Emotion Recognition System monitors the userβs affective state. This enables the system to provide coaching aimed to improve the resilience and feelings of safety of the user. The project we aim to build consists of a system which listens to the user and generates images fitting the story the user is narrating. Additionally, automatic emotion recognition (AER) is performed in the background. The AI model (PaLM) is tasked with interacting with the user when needed. The interactions are aimed to contribute to the userβs feelings of safety, while they face topics of different type. To do so, the AI will play the role of a character within the story, who helps the user to face problematic topics by inviting them to reflect and optionally relax when AER reaches sufficiently negative valence. Conversely, image generation will be mitigating the influence of negative emotions on visuals, while enhancing positive emotions. This is meant to create a positive feedback loop, which aims to boost resilience, emotional awareness and psychological safety.

Multiple studies have shown that the roots in the ability to communicate lies in the availability of resources Our goal is to improve English interaction/communication skills for the educationally under-privileged kids in the class group of UKG-5th.. How do we achieve this? - Explain story lines and ask questions and let them ask questions (2 way interaction) between child and AI agent. - Explain story lines: The app will allow the kid to speak the story that is shown on the screen - The AI agent will evaluate the spoken words by the kid and give the score. (ASR) - Based on the score we suggest tasks to the kid to improve the fluency and access his learning capacity. 2 way interaction: Kids can cross question and ask the app to explain the meaning of the words in more explainable way (Options: Story, image) [Conversational AI (ChatGPT/PaLM2), Text to Image (Imagen/DALL.E)] - Conversational AI responses can be made to the level of kids by prompt engineering. - Connecting kids of similar age-groups.

Many ML researchers are unhappy with their development process. Coding from scratch is laborious since the process for developing and testing new models is largely the same each time but no-code and low-code platforms do not provide enough granularity to tweak models, loss functions, and training processes. Most ML researchers experiment in Jupyter notebooks. They are quick, composable, and easy to present.However, even with the help of LLMs: - Copy-pasting code between web-interfaces and notebooks is slow - Errors in generated code are difficult to detect and fix - Writing the appropriate prompt to generate correct boilerplate code is still repetitive Our solution takes existing data and a natural language prompt and uses it to build a model that is compatible with the shape and types of the data. It also uses recursive API calls to fix any errors in the generated code by passing them back to the LLM. In the future, this product could be extended to generate code for the full build, train, test, and measure cycle so that researchers can ask for a set of models to be tested, tweak the generated code as needed, and rapidly evaluate the best model for their needs.

To accomplish our goal of censoring gestures, we knew we needed 2 layers to our algorithm. The first layer needed to recognize landmarks on hands and in the second we needed to identify the gesture using the landmarks. To recognize the landmarks, we used Googleβs mediapipe software, which comes with a pre-trained hand recognition model. Our innovations came from gesture recognition. We encoded the landmarks as features by creating a distance matrix between each landmark and every other landmark. These distances were then used in a support vector machine to classify the type of gesture. We found a dataset of 600 images, with 31 unique gestures. We then added to this dataset by curating over 50 images of middle finger gestures. Using this dataset, we can train a model that is good at classifying the middle finger gesture. Next, we blur the hand by using each landmark as a point and mapping a gaussian density around the points. We use the OpenCV blur function to blur the pixels that have density. The project includes an entire Django frontend and REST service for censoring videos. It also comes with a Dockerfile to deploy the stateless service.

Query Optimization has been a crucial and headache issue for SQL storage engines. Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft, and Oracle all have big teams dedicated to this field. Meanwhile, insufficient SQL queries are still everywhere and wasting tons of time and computing resources. Currently, there are various ways to rewrite an inefficient SQL query, there are even startups just to help you write good queries. But their approaches are still mostly by rules and heuristics. ChatGPT is able to rewrite some queries, but firstly the current results are not good enough, and secondly, it would be hard to incorporate data schema information such as table, index, etc. However, these obstacles are not unsolvable. We should believe LLM can play a bigger role in this field. This project leverages the power of PaLM and LangChain, demonstrating the first step towards this goal.

Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) are a standardized way of cataloging vulnerabilities in software. When a security vulnerability is discovered, it can be assigned a CVE identifier to ensure that information about the vulnerability can be shared and referenced across different platforms and organizations. CVEs are currently maintained as freeform text, but will soon be maintained in JSON format. A Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) is a document that provides a comprehensive inventory of software components and dependencies. It is a structured list that includes information about the software components, libraries, frameworks, and other third-party software used in the development or deployment of a software product. SBOMs can be automatically generated from files that define build information for software, e.g. POM files for Maven, requirements.txt for Python, etc. It would be extremely useful to be able to automatically scan SBOMs to see whether the associated software packages are vulnerable to the CVEs. Google Vertex's Palm turned out to be capable of automatically finding a list of affected versions based on the CVE descriptions. For example, there was a major vulnerability in Apache Log4J in late 2021. Let's take a look at the version information in the CVE (https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2021-44832): "Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-beta7 through 2.17.0 (excluding security fix releases 2.3.2 and 2.12.4) are vulnerable to a remote code execution (RCE) attack...." That makes sense to a human, but it's not conducive to automatic processing. Google Vertex was able to generate a specific list of Log4J versions that met the criteria in the description. It also shows potential for automatically extracting additional information from text descriptions in CVEs. With this information, we can automatically read an SBOM and determine whether the software is vulnerable to a particular CVE.

Vertex AI retrieves the data from our MongoDB database before formulating a response to the user. The saurus is a tiny dino, and like that tiny dino this project leverages VertexAI large language models to find similar meaning, The goal of of this project is to present an app that functions as a thesaurus, demonstrates usage of the synonyms in a poem or haiku, and then determines whether or not the word is a real word. Large language models, like the pretrained chat-bison model used in this app, collect words of similar meaning in multidimensional space. This means thesaurus words will, in the best case, find a similar meaning of word; in less ideal cases, find words of similar spelling. Team Tiny Dinos built a streamlit app using vertexai as the api to interface with a large language model. The LLM Thesaursus takes a word, returns 3 thesaurus synonyms, uses those synonyms in a poem, and decides whether or not it thinks it's a made up word.

We are attempting to modify auto_gpt to auto_bard. When Bard generates JSON, it sometimes produces abnormal JSON. Therefore, we are using OpenAI's AI function to ensure each JSON is correct. We have used the Claude API to accomplish the same task. You can see a similar project in another branch of this repository. We found that the performance of Claude is superior to that of GPT-3.5 Turbo, and GPT-3.5 Turbo is better than Bard. However, Bard's response speed is higher than the other models. We believe Bard's limitation lies in its input token limit, as it only supports up to 8192 tokens, which is quite short. If Bard could support more input words, it might be a good candidate for an agent

My vision is to be the first to deliver an all-encompassing (or as close as possible) service for people that want to follow their dream of moving to Europe and establishing a new life. That includes, for example, from making free, up-to-date information available in a easy format; obtaining all necessary information, processing it with the respecting authorities, and follow-up for quick turnovers; facilitating documents, travel, housing, language, health, culture, and more. Part of this vision is to also bond with local authorities and governments in order to form alliances that would be beneficial to all: immigrants will be living their dream, while the host cities will get the economy (and in some cases, a much-needed population) boost. Further down the road, I plan to expand to more countries, and/or purchase a hostel-style building, where these dream-followers can not only have a place to rest, but also contribute to the local community, learn their language, culture, be eager to get a job and a place to call home. There are many moving parts and factors to consider in this endeavor when taken to a broader spectrum, instead of one person. Apart from the main vein of citizenship acquisition, there are several complementary, parallel, and ancillary parts that can also benefit from these technologies. According to Bing Chat, there was a 14% increase in citizenship applications in 2020, reaching a staggering 827,300 granted citizenships in 2021. Spain had 27%, followed by Italy with 18% of that total number. Keep in mind that the number equivalent to the demand for citizenship services would be much higher, without considering the demand for residency and other types of visa. To achieve this, we're utilizing artificial intelligence technologies provided by Google, and harnessing rich data from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). We've chosen Google's PaLM 2 as our main NLP model due to its state-of-the-art capabilities in language interpretation. NLP, an AI discipline, empowers computers to comprehend and interact with human language. With its understanding of language nuances, PaLM 2 can interpret and process financial documents, and it can then fetch and rephrase information to the user. At the heart of our project are SEC filings, including forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K. To ensure our system always accesses the most recent data, we're tapping into the SEC's EDGAR system. EDGAR, or Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system, is a digital database provided by the SEC. This platform is where all U.S. publicly traded companies are mandated to submit their regulatory filings. These documents are essential sources of financial data. The 10-K form provides a comprehensive annual overview of a company's financial performance. The 10-Q form updates on the company's financial status on a quarterly basis, while the 8-K reports unscheduled material events or corporate changes that could be significant to shareholders or the SEC. Through processing these forms, our system can extract crucial financial details for each company, such as revenue, net income, and cash flow. This extraction is invaluable for investors, analysts, and financial institutions who need the most current, detailed financial information to make informed decisions. In addition, these filings are often hundreds of pages long, so an LLM that integrates directly into the source of the filing can efficiently fetch relevant information for our users.
